The story so far...

Mildhogs was formed in May 2008 by Paul Astle, Dirk James & Ian Mckay.. formed originaly from the CSC (chinese scooter club ) The idea behind the club was to bring people together locally regardless of bike type, size etc... something which was not available at the time.

By christmas 2008 the forum side of the club had grown and now we have over 70 members.

In 2009 we set out a number of 'missions' we would try and fulfil as a club, they were as follows..

Set up a prize draw, obtain a society lottery licence, ask companies to donate the prizes.

We formed a society constitution and applied to Liverpool City Council for our licence and launched ticket sales.

This was drawn on August 17th and proved successful!

In may we were approached by the Twist and GO magazine in regards to the Hert of England Bike Show.

This we attended and had our own stand at the show. We spent the day raffling off donated prizes. Photos

Our next mission was to plan and implement a charity night. This we held at Clubmoor Conservative Club on July 3rd. We had a night of fun and games as well as the fantastic local band 'The Dawn'. Again, successful. Photos

Finally the ultimate challenge had to be the 2050 epic charity ride. Liverpool to land's end to John O'Groats and back. 5 riders set off on the big journey and we kept a diary which can be read here.

We have appeared in newspapers, on the radio and in magazines..( see here). that's just the past year!

In 2010 as well as the usual weekly Scotch piper meets and Sunday rideouts, Mildhogs sponsored a local rider Jenny Tinmouth for the Isle of Man TT 2010, she again held the fastest female title.
